Wallack, Pearl (Bassin) of St. Louis Park, formerly of Richfield, died on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the age of 83. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ann Bassin; brothers, Sander Bassin and Samuel Bassin; and sister, Helen Bassin. Survived by Max, beloved husband of 62 years; sons, Joseph, CPA (Ruth Levine, M.D.) of Houston, TX; David, Ph.D. (Kaori, LPN) of Hillsboro, OR; 4 grandchildren, David, Anna, Benjamin and Joseph; sister, Celia Bassin, Minneapolis, MN; sister-in-law, Helen Walstedt; Lorraine Wallack; nieces, Nancy Wallack and Debbie Wallack; and special nephew, Greg (Karen) Wallack. Pearl wanted to acknowledge with great appreciation special friends, Melanie Hodroff; Monroe and Colleen Hodroff; Max Zeman; and Ed and Jane Zeman. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2012 at 11 AM at the chapel at United Hebrew Brotherhood Cemetery, 70 1/2 Street West and Thomas Avenue So., Richfield, MN. SHIVA will be held on Sunday at 7 pm at Sholom Home West, St. Louis Park. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Chevra Kavod Hamet at Adath Jeshurun Congregation, 10500 Hillside Lane West, Minnetonka, MN 55305.
